Entraco Sea-FROSTTM The Naval Top-side Solution

MIL-PRF-24758A(SH)

Heavy Duty, Flexible Metal, EMI-EMP Conduit System

Which Would You Prefer?
Longer Life, Better Performance, Lowest Lifetime Costs

When a naval surface ship is in port and a key system must be added or modified on deck, it is absolutely vital that the cables are protected with conduit systems that are resistant to all environments, including Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP). Time is of the essence to get the ship into service as soon as possible. Icore has developed the preferred electrical conduit solution that meets these needs - Sea FROST.

Sea-FROST features a simple two piece fitting installation, with longer life, better performance and lower cost of ownership than any other conduit system in the world.

This Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solution for naval topside conduits has been selected by all of the major US shipyards, and is preferred in both original equipment manufacturing and in-service modifications. Developed in conjunction with key engineers at the Navy and within the shipyards, Sea-FROST is easier to install because it can be cut to length at the application, avoiding costly pre-assembled misfits and in-process rework. The Sea FROST product line has been qualified to the US Navy MIL-PRF 24758(SH), which has replaced the obsolete MIL-C-24758 conduit and fittings that did not last as long in a shipboard environment of stack gases, salt spray and sunlight exposure.

There are other conduit systems offered, but none that offer the ease of reliable installation that makes Sea-FROST the preferred product for repair and retrofit as well.

Simpler is better, but only if electrical continuity, EMP and EMI protection, environmental sealing and stable electrical performance are not compromised over the life of the installation. Sea-FROST was designed to meet those requirements with a Field Repairable Optimized Shielding Termination (FROST).

Sea-FROSTTM Features and Benefits

Sea-FROST IS PROVEN on the world's largest surface combatant fleet, and approved for installation by every major US shipbuilder.
